Carter Lawrence
Philip Walker
Philip Walker is an accomplished Chief Executive Officer, entrepreneur and board director with a strong background in the Financial Services sector. Currently CEO of AAA Life Insurance, Mr. Walker previously served for many years as CEO of the iptiQ Americas unit of Swiss Re (Swiss: SREN), as a senior executive with Thomas Cook Group and as an executive with Capital One (NYSE: COF). As an entrepreneur he cofounded Envera Health and Heritage Union Life where he was Chairman and CEO. As a consultant, he has advised private equity groups, insurance carriers and health intermediaries in the areas of culture, valuation, strategic planning and market assessment. He was previously an Operating Partner at Clearpoint Capital Partners. Mr. Walker is CEO of AAA Life Insurance – the national Life Insurer of the American Automobile Association. Recruited in 2022 to expand the company’s reach with AAA members, Mr Walker is responsible for all Life and Health insurance carriers within the AAA Federation including primary and reinsurance carriers which collectively server over 1.6 million policyholders in all 50 US states. In his previous role as CEO of iptiQ Americas (a subsidiary of Swiss Re:Swiss: SREN ) Mr Walker was responsible for several insurance carrier and marketing subsidiaries and investments in non-insurance subsidiaries and partners. Under his leadership, the company established itself as a leading digital insurer with earned premiums in excess of $250 million. It also expanded into the senior healthcare sector and acquired a national insurance sales organization. The unit also managed the company’s $6 Billion closed book insurance portfolio. From 2016 to 2020, Mr. Walker served on the executive committee of Life Capital a Swiss Re global business unit. He represented Swiss Re and iptiQ on several foreign and domestic boards. Prior to joining Swiss Re, Mr Walker co-founded health services company Envera Health where his chief responsibility was developing a data business focused on packaging health data for underwriting purposes and the acquisition of inHealth, a community based health services company. The health data unit he developed at Envera was subsequently spun out as an independent insurance underwriting company, Clareto. Clareto was acquired by SCOR in 2022. Earlier in his career, Mr Walker co-founded and served for 7 years as CEO of Heritage Union Life, an insurance carrier dedicated to selling term life insurance coverage to American families. Funded initially with $30 million in venture capital, Heritage Union was sold to Wilton Re in 2011. At Capital One (NYSE: COF), Mr Walker was primarily responsible for building the company’s credit card internet marketing and operations. He also supported the company’s evolution toward a more mature, integrated operating model in the areas of cross- sell marketing and supply chain management. He joined Capital One following 8 years with Thomas Cook Group in their Corporate Currency Trading unit where he developed new hedging strategies for retail commercial customers and a global currency trading system based on early web technology. Mr. Walker currently serves on the board ClearEstate, a Canadian estate and probate management company.. He also serves on the board of AAA Life and has previously served on a number of insurance holding and operating companies including iptiQ subsidiaries Lumico Life Insurance Company, Lumico Life Insurance Company of New York and Elips Life Insurance Company, and Heritage Union Life Insurance Company, and on the Board of Tempo Assist, a Brazilian homes services and roadside assistance company based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His non-profit board experience includes Partnership for the Future, the Podium Foundation and the board of a Virginia State Park Volunteer organization where he also served for 6 years as President. Mr. Walker holds a BA degree in Finance from Bishop’s University where he graduated with Honors, and an SEP certificate from Stanford University School of Business.

She has led claim departments handling a variety of complex and large loss commercial general liability claims, from latent bodily injury and property damage to construction defect and construction-related bodily injury. She also led an assumed reinsurance claims unit. Angela holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. from Colgate University and currently leads Claims for the Specialty Construction division of Great American Insurance Group.

Corin Chapman is the Director of Data and Data Engineering, Innovation, and Actuarial Studies for Life/Health/Investment Planning Services at State Farm, where she has dedicated 15 years of service to supporting the company’s mission of helping more people in more ways. She earned a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and is currently a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. With a passion for innovation, Corin is dedicated to finding creative solutions that support State Farm policyholders in their journey towards improved “Self, Health, and Wealth.” This focus on holistic well-being drives her work in leveraging data to inform strategic initiatives and foster a positive customer experience for policyholders. Prior to Arch, Jonathan was a management consultant at KPMG where he helped his insurance clients to develop strategy and execute transformation across the value chain by designing and implementing operating models, optimizing processes, establishing shared service strategy, and by adopting emerging technologies (e.g. data and analytics, automation, and low/no code). I’m the Auto Industry Liaison working directly with all auto manufacturers that operate in North America. My primary function is creating and maintaining long-lasting relationships with the OEMs with an emphasis on Service Engineering for the benefit of our Mutual Customers. I also provide technical support for the Vehicle Research Facility, Claims Research Auto Support Hotline (CRASH), Auto Innovation, Auto Safety groups, and P&C Claims here at State Farm. I began my career at State Farm in 1990 in the former Ohio Region as an Auto Estimatics Inspector and became a Property Claim Trainer there in 1995. In 1997, I operated as a special projects Trainer in Ohio and assisted in the implementation training of the Claim Processor position in the Zone. In 1998, I became an Instructor at the Corporate Office and was responsible for co-authoring and delivering the Estimatics and Management schools as well as the Select Service workshops in Bloomington and around the Company. In June 2004, I became an Estimatics Team Manager in the Northeast Zone where I managed a Claim Operation and Select Service program in South-Central PA. In January 2012, I returned to the home office to become the Auto Industry Liaison in Enterprise Research. All the opportunities I’ve had at State Farm have kept me close to the Collision Industry. Prior to my career at State Farm, I owned and operated a Collision Repair Facility in the Cleveland Ohio market. I am also an ASE and I-Car Certified Collision Technician, current CIC member, am very passionate about supporting our secondary and post-secondary collision vocations and have been an automotive enthusiast all my life.
