As SVP of Underwriting Operations, she thrives on building high performing teams, building scalable operations and aligning organizations around bold transformative visions to drive growth. Serena is a passionate leader known for fostering an environment of empowerment, inclusion and continuous improvement. Her leadership style is rooted in curiosity, collaboration and a drive to elevate both people and processes. Outside of work, Serena’s life is quite full – she is the proud mom of three teenagers, married to her college sweetheart and surrounded by a spirited crew of pets (3 cats, 1 dog, turtles and fish). In her downtime, you’ll find her scuba diving with camera in hand, unwinding on a yoga mat, jamming to her favorite music or lost in the pages of a great book.
