Adele Sumner
Adele Sumner is the Head of Counter Fraud at RSA Insurance UK. She has over ten years of ‘hands on’ experience in counter fraud activity in the insurance sector, including leading RSA’s Fraud Intelligence Team where she developed techniques and experience in the use of the internet, both to assist individual investigations and to obtain data that will enhance fraud detection models. She is widely acknowledged for her expertise in the practical deployment and use of technology to identify fraud and has been an important figure in various fraud technology programmes both in RSA and at an industry level. In her current role she is responsible for developing strategies to tackle fraud and adopts a risk focused, intelligence led approach to combating the external threat fraud posed to RSA. In 2008 she obtained a Master Degree in Fraud Management from Teesside University.

Kristýna Schusterová
Kristýna Schusterová is a Product Manager at Resistant AI, where she has been helping risk, fraud, and compliance teams worldwide secure automated onboarding, KYC, and claims processing against document fraud for the past four years from Resistant AI’s Prague headquarters. Her clients include global companies from the insurance, fintech, and identity verification sectors.
With a deep understanding of fraud detection in financial services and insurance, Kristýna collaborates with global banks, insurers, and identity verification providers to ensure their AI-driven automation systems remain resilient to manipulation and abuse. Her pragmatic approach and dedication to tackling fraud challenges make her a trusted expert in fraud-resilient document automation, helping companies enhance security without compromising efficiency.

Maxime Paul
After earning a PhD in applied mathematics, Maxime naturally transitioned into data science. In late 2016, he joined Shift Technology to specialize in applying AI models to the insurance industry, focusing on fraud detection and claims automation. After five years managing models and clients in Asia, Maxime returned to France in 2021 and now leads data science activities in Europe.

Geoff Andrews
As Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Carpe Data, Geoff Andrews is responsible for the overall operation of the company as well as the oversight and execution of strategic initiatives. Prior to his current tenure, Geoff served as a director and original member of Steel Card, playing a key role in the company’s development and successful acquisition by ChoicePoint. As the VP of Operations for the Personal Lines Software Division of Insurity, Geoff was integral in making Steel Card the first ChoicePoint acquisition— and exceeded expected revenue targets for the first three quarters as a result.
