Vincent Gillet joined Hertz International on 1st August, 2016 as Vice President, Marketing International.
In addition to his time at Hertz, Vincent’s marketing experience has spanned 25 years with leading and luxury brands in the automotive, hospitality, retail, and wine and spirits sectors. During this time, he worked in the UK, US and Asia. Vincent has a strong track record of customer-led marketing, product innovation, re-invigorating brands, best-in-class digital platforms, and partnership development. Before joining Hertz, Vincent served as the Global Vice President of Brand at Infiniti, Nissan Motors’ premium brand, where he innovated Infiniti’s overall brand strategy to drive significant volume growth.
Vincent is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and plans for Hertz International for all car rental brands.
Prior to Infiniti, Vincent served as Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader for the W and Le Meridien hotels at the Starwood Hotels & Resorts, responsible for the brand management and strategic development of 145 hotels. Previously Vincent held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Six Senses Hotels and Spa, a sustainable luxury and wellness brand in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Before branching into hospitality, Vincent worked in the wine and spirits sector, including the Stoli brand of Pernod as Global Brand Director; Mumm and Perrier Jouer Champagnes as UK Country Manager, and Moet & Chandon’s Senior Brand Manager. Vincent started his career in retail with the Chanel Group, with roles including international marketing communications and advertising.
