Tai-Kuan Ly is the President Director of Chubb in Indonesia. He holds the overall responsibility for the company’s non-life insurance business growth and financial results, across all lines of business including Property & Casualty, Accident & Health and Personal Lines.

Mr. Ly joined Chubb in 2013 as the Vice President, Global Motor and Residential Product Manager for Asia Pacific. Within two years at Chubb, he was appointed as the Vice President and Deputy Regional Head of Personal & Business Insurance for Asia Pacific, leading the portfolio management and strategic development of the auto, residential and small commercial insurance business in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Chubb, Mr. Ly has over 2 decades of global non-life insurance experience and served in a variety of portfolio management and actuarial positions at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Company in South Korea, Allstate Insurance Company in U.S., and AIG in Southeast Asia.

Mr. Ly obtained his M.S. and B.S. in Mathematics from Illinois State University in the ‘80s.
