Subhanko Basu, UK Insurance ESG Lead, Capco.

Subhanko is a Managing Principal within Capco’s insurance practice based in the London office.

He has over 16 years of international experience within insurance, banking and professional services.

Subhanko joined Capco from Unum Plc where he was involved in projects within corporate transactions, strategy development and M&A. Prior to this, he spent over a decade with Just Group Plc, a FTSE 250 life insurer focused on the retirement income market. There he led projects on strategy development, execution, opportunity assessment, product ideation, sustainability, operating model design, debt/equity financing, credit rating and market development. He was also part of the team involved in Just Retirement’s listing on the LSE and the merger of Just Retirement and Partnership assurance.

Prior to this, he held roles with Capgemini Consulting across Asia and the UK.

Subhanko holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Pune.
