As Head of Insurance & Retail at Bank Muscat, Sreenath Manghat oversees the bank’s insurance business for all the customer segments and Wealth Management business for the retail bank. In this role, Sreenath is responsible for design and development of the insurance and retail wealth business with the purpose of maximizing growth, market share and profitability. He manages the wealth business activities ensuring they are closely aligned to the wealth management strategy of the bank. As a part of this, Bank Muscat has entered in to two exclusive long-term strategic partnerships with two global insurers and the arrangements are hailed as the widest-reaching Bancassurance distribution partnership ever in GCC.

With over 13 + years of experience in various Bancassurance roles, with 3 leading banks in Middle East, Sreenath places strong emphasis on customer experience. Prior to joining Bank Muscat, Sreenath was Product Head – Insurance for Emirates NBD, one of the largest banks in GCC. During his time with the bank he has been instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that made Emirates NBD a leading regional Bancassurance player. He started his career with Prudential in India before moving to UAE with Mashreq bank in 2005. Sreenath is an MBA with dual specialization in Marketing and HR.
