Sophie is an associate within Anthemis’ Investment Parthership team, where she helps discover, evaluate and execute early stage investments.

She started her career at Deloitte, qualifying as a chartered accountant before moving into Financial Services M&A, where she worked on a variety of banking, insurance and FinTech transactions. Most recently she headed up partnerships at Innovate Finance, the independent membership association that represents the UK’s global FinTech community.

A born and bred Londoner, Sophie has an Undergraduate Master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from Oxford University, where she also played women’s rugby.
