Simon Burtwell is the UK Insurance Advisory Leader at EY, and also leads the firm’s Global captives practice. Simon had 15 years in the Insurance Industry as an Underwriter and Broker, and since then, over 15 years leading major projects for the Insurance Industry in more than 20 countries. In his role, Simon has led a wide range of projects including: a Global broker technology project, an underwriting and claims transformation project, multiple strategic reviews and organisational redesigns, cost reduction and target operating model transformations.
