Selim Cavanagh is the Director of Insurance at Mind Foundry, an Oxford University company, empowering organisations with AI built to tackle high-stakes, real-world problems at both individual and population scale. Selim brings close to 25 years of experience delivering data, IT and research-based solutions to the insurance sector. Previously Selim was at Ingenie Insurance, a company he led to transform driving for young drivers through the provision of telematics technology. Selim built Ingenie’s B2B SaaS platform before successfully selling the data-driven business to Howden. Selim has held additional roles at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Experian, and Axa. He is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has worked with industry bodies such as SepNet to promote STEM subjects within the UK.
