Ramatha heads up the Telematics Innovation team at Pioneer. With an extensive engineering and project management background, which even includes time spent leading engineering project teams at NASA, Ramatha has been immersed in the development of Pioneer’s driver safety solution, since its introduction into Europe. Her experience also includes leading a project which focused on on/off road vehicle standards relating to the development of functional safety products. A career-long record of combining technology innovation with a strategic view of the customer requirement, Ramatha is driven by bringing a human perspective into the field of telematics and AI.

Ramatha is a civil engineer by profession with majors in computer science, mathematics and electrical engineering and has vast experience of presenting research papers in front of academic and industry audiences.
