Peter is the Managing Director of Generali Vitality GmbH, the company in charge for developing, launching and managing Vitality into Generali’s continental European markets. This includes Germany which launched in July 2016 and France in January 2017 as well as Austria in October 2017. In the course of his career,  has held various senior management positions at international insurance companies and has been active in the insurance industry for more than 30 years. Prior to Generali Vitality, he was a member of the Executive Board of Zurich Austria and CEO of Life Insurance for more than 6 years. Prior to Zürich, Stockhammer held several mangament functions at the UNIQA Group and its predecessor companies. In 2018, Peter took part in the Global Leadership Programme, a course specifically for senior managers that took place in Lausanne, Switzerland.
