Joan has an atypical background in marketing and technology. After a few years working at AXA Assistance and VidaCaixa, Joan has been part of MAPFRE Open Innovation since its creation, in 2018. As Global Head of Transformation, he leads MAPFRE’s fast-track-to-market program for startups (insur_space), their investments in Venture Capital and research initiatives with universities all over the world.
