Herman is a seasoned technologist having worked in a variety of IT roles, both hands-on and in leadership position, bringing more than 20 years experience of delivering technology solutions, primarily in the financial services sector.

Currently serving as Principal Architect at Bupa since September 2023, Herman also co-founded BizzCtrl Ltd, where the role of Chief Technology Officer has been held since June 2021. Previously, Herman was Lead Architect at HSBC from January 2015 to September 2023, alongside various solution architect positions at Barclays, Xchanging, and Aviva.
