Anja has been working as Innovation Manager at Helvetia Insurance since 2016. In this role, she has the overall responsibility for Helvetia Kickbox, a programme that allows employees to realise their own innovative ideas. Kickbox enables everyone in the company to become an active part of innovation and equips employees with the necessary tools and expertise. Previously, Anja worked in several early-stage insurance and insurtech projects, such as a digital household and liability insurance for young customers, a customer-centric approach to comprehensible insurance, or a new life insurance model. Anja graduated with a Bachelor in International Business from Maastricht University after living in the Netherlands for three years and added a Master’s degree in Business Innovation at the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland. Especially during her master’s degree, she gained a profound understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship, which is now part of her daily job.
