Her career spans leadership roles in financial services, insurance, technology, and consulting, with a demonstrated passion for integrating data and technology into core business operations. As the Founder and CEO of Data Capital LLC, Amy advises industry-leading organizations on data strategy, AI governance, and business transformation. Her work focuses on building robust governance frameworks, resolving data quality issues, and driving IT-business alignment to reduce risk and achieve measurable results. Her expertise in leveraging cutting-edge technologies, such as cloud service providers, unified analytics platforms and Large Language Models (LLMs), has established her as a thought leader in her field. Amy’s prior role as Senior Vice President and Head of Data Governance at Northern Trust further highlights her leadership acumen. There, she spearheaded a comprehensive governance framework for the Asset Management division, overseeing metadata management, data privacy, data quality and audit compliance. Her contributions not only strengthened regulatory adherence but also fostered a culture of data transparency and operational excellence. At Kemper, Amy led a $10 million cloud transformation project as AVP of Life & Health Information and Insights. Her team reduced data processing times from months to minutes, achieving millions in cost savings and setting a standard for IT modernization across the organization. Amy’s ability to deliver large-scale projects under budget and on time underscores her exceptional program management skills. Amy’s career also includes tenure at Wintrust Financial, where she established an enterprise-wide data governance program, and CoreSource, where she drove strategic data initiatives. Her hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving earned her recognition as a trusted partner to C-suite executives and external stakeholders alike. Beyond her professional achievements, Amy is a committed advocate for leadership development and diversity. As a Founding Member of Chief, a private network for senior women executives, she has contributed to empowering women in leadership roles across industries.
