Sully McConnell is the Head of Insurance at Snowflake, where he is responsible for developing Snowflake’s value proposition for the insurance industry and supporting our customers’ data ecosystem modernisation initiatives. Prior to joining Snowflake, Sully was the Chief Data Officer at The Hartford Insurance Group where he led their data cloud migration journey and the contemporisation of the organisation’s data and analytics platforms & processes. For the last 20 years, he led large data and analytics organisations and modernization initiatives at a variety of fortune 500 organisations including Brighthouse Financial, Travelers Insurance, Time Warner Cable, and Aetna US Healthcare. Sully is a recognised thought leader in the space, and has played an advisory role to data and analytics platform providers including Thoughtspot, Talend, Teradata and others.
