Simon joined the Aviva family 1990 as an actuarial trainee and qualified as an actuary in 1996. He has a BSc in Mathematics and is currently the Life Analytics Director and Practice Partner in Quantum, Aviva’s Data Science Practice.

Simon sits on the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Research and Thought Leadership Board. He is passionate about using data science to support customer outcomes and has used this to help deliver Aviva Plus, Aviva’s ground breaking personal insurance proposition.

Outside of work, Simon’s interests include walking his three dogs, sailing, reading, travel and films. He is married with two children aged 19 and 17.
