Sheel Sawhney is Chief Operations Officer at Brit Insurance. Mr. Sawhney is responsible for Brit’s Business Operations, Technology, Innovation and Claims teams and services. Prior to this, Mr. Sawhney was Group Head of Claims at Brit. Mr. Sawhney came to Brit from Alea Group where he was part of the management team handling the run-off of Alea’s global (re)insurance portfolios. Prior to Alea, Mr. Sawhney has held senior roles at Travelers in Hartford, CT and started his career at American International Group in New York. Mr. Sawhney is on Brit’s executive Committee, is a member of the LMA Board and is the Executive Sponsor leading the Future at Lloyd’s Claims Lab.
