Robert Smithson is the founder and CEO of Just Auto Insurance, a telematics-based auto insurance company. Just was founded in January 2019 when Robert realised that the consumers who would benefit most from a telematics based product were those on lower incomes, who pay too much for auto insurance because of the use of measures such as credit rating and zip code in setting rates. Just launched in Arizona at the end of March 2020 and is growing rapidly. Before founding Just, Robert was a partner at a fund management firm, and founded several businesses including Genius Sports (2000) and PythonAnywhere (2012).
