Richard joined the insurance industry over a year and half ago to help drive improved decision making in claims for AXA using machine learning. Typical machine learning Use Cases at AXA span the claims journey such as FNOL triage, Total Loss decision, subrogation, bodily injury negotiation. Prior to joining AXA, Richard worked predominantly in the defence and traffic industry. During the previous decade Richard has been involved in the research and deployment of both deep learning and generative models. Now as Head of Data Science in Claims Analytics, Richard is helping to drive the transformation of complex claims using the latest evolution of these areas of AI.
