Paul Brandstätter has studied Financial and Actuarial Mathematics in Vienna and Aarhus. Since 2009, he is working for UNIQA Insurance Group, a company with a strong footprint both in Austria and Eastern Europe. In 2016 he took over the responsibility for the P&C Analytics department. Besides standard topics like reporting, pricing and predictive modelling he also accompanied the introduction of a group-wide, modern, analytics-driven fraud detection system.
