Dr. Nazim Cetin has been the CEO of Allianz X since 2017. He oversees a talented team managing a portfolio of more than 25 direct investments and over €1.5 billion assets under management (AuM). Before starting at Allianz X, Nazim worked in investing, business development, and entrepreneurship at Target Global, Arvato, and Bertelsmann; he founded and published the magazine agora 42; built out Maple Bank’s commercial division; and advised several international VC funds and startups. Nazim holds a number of academic qualifications in economics and management, including a Ph.D. from Witten-Herdecke University.
