Michael started his insurance career at ITT London & Edinburgh learning all aspects of general insurance during a six-year stint until the NU takeover.

He then joined Towergate in 1999 and over the following 14 years helped build and shape it until leaving in 2013. Key to this was the ability to use technology and data transforming it into business value. During that time he gained an MBA studying at Cass Business School. Since then he founded and now runs now4cover, a digital personal lines intermediary.

He has regularly spoken on items such as big data and analytics and is a member of the CII Underwriting Faculty Board.
