Manu heads AI for BUPA’s Customer Lab where the focus is on leveraging technology to help customers live longer, healthier, happier lives. The Lab applies machine & deep learning techniques to a variety of problems e.g. designing algorithms that can analyse scans to help clinicians diagnose disease profiles, predicting customer footfall into facilities, optimizing resources to meet dynamic customer demand etc. Prior to this Manu has led technology and data science teams for Vodafone, HP, Albertsons and Microsoft. He enjoys setting up and scaling analytics teams having done so in the US, India, Germany, UK, Hungary, Turkey, Singapore etc. He was selected as one of UK’s top Data Leaders for 2018 (Information Age) and Top 50 Data and Analytics Innovators of UK (Corinium Intelligence) . He holds a Masters from UC Berkeley in Applied Mathematical Sciences and a Management of Technology from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
