Jeff Briglia is the chief operating officer of Metromile. He oversees the company’s actuarial, insurance product management and underwriting operations, including its first-of-its-kind artificial intelligence claims assistant.

Jeff has more than 20 years of insurance experience, including senior positions at Allstate, Mercury and Progressive. He spent 14 years at Progressive and most recently led its more than $1 billion-premium special lines division portfolio. At Allstate, he helped transform the claims operation model, generating significant benefits for the company. He has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelors of science in civil engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
