Jason Gross is the Vice President of Innovation at EMC Insurance in Des Moines. In this role, Jason and his team lead EMC’s internal innovation initiatives, collaboration with external insurtech startups and accelerators, and insurtech venture investments.

Combined, Jason has over 15 years of leadership experience in insurance and financial services with roles in corporate strategy, IT and distribution. Jason also spent 10+ years working in the political arena with diverse roles in state government, campaign management and working for nonprofit public policy think tanks.

Jason is very active in his community, state and industry.  Of note Jason serves in leadership roles with the Global Insurance Accelerator (GIA), the Global Insurance Symposium (GIS), the Iowa Association of Business and Industry and several organizations in Iowa supporting the arts, homelessness and developing leadership skills for the next generation.
