James manages a team of data scientists and analysts working within the London market specialist insurance sector. The team’s objective is to work closely with underwriters and blend traditional underwriting knowledge and expertise, with data science and software development skills. James has worked in a broad range of analytic roles within the insurance sector: exposure management, pricing analysis, machine learning, and new product development. James is currently working on a number of data science and organisational transformation initiatives, and also working with a new joint venture company (Chrysalis Management Limited) to develop new insurance products for the energy sector.
