After a PhD in optimization under risk, Henri Gérard joined the FinTech world where he developed algorithms for goal-based invested portofolios management. He then joined Akur8 as a Lead Data Scientist, where he contributes to the technical and commercial development of the platform. He led several research projects, from theory to production, to improve the insurance pricing platform. By working with pricing teams to help them leverage Akur8, he also developed a strong understanding of actuaries’ needs, which allow him to help them gaining time and efficiency in their day to day job
