Hassan has been with Zurich since 2011 as the Lead Global Underwriter for Zurich’s Supply Chain Insurance proposition covering North America, Europe & Asia Pacific and was based in London before moving to Global Underwriting based in Hong Kong. He then moved into the role of Head of Proposition for Zurich Global Corporate before becoming the Technical Director /Head of TZW of Underwriting-Asia Pacific. Earlier last year Hassan relocated to Indonesia to become a Director and the Chief Underwriting Officer of Zurich Insurance Indonesia.

Hassan has over 14 years of underwriting, business development and industry experience. He holds the ACII insurance qualification and is a Chartered Insurer as well as a member of the WCI ( a UK Livery Company) and has served as a committee member of the LBIA (London Business Interruption Association), a judge for the Efma Accenture Innovation in Insurance award, an advisor to the Chartered Insurance Institute (Hong Kong) & as part the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) Innovation SIG.
