Gregor used to be a student at the University of Ljubljana, where he spent weekends doing shows as a breakdancer. He even won some competitions. In addition, he ended up doing a master’s degree in financial mathematics.  As a result, he acquired his first insurance position at the group actuarial department in Munich. Mostly, thanks to his first boss, he ended up liking the industry.  Simultaneously, he focused his energies on a side project trying to find a framework to price microinsurance products in Egypt. Later, he joined the Deloitte team in Milan developing asset liability models. In 2018, he moved to London and co-founded QnityRe.
