Ellen Tobback joined AXA Belgium 5 years ago as a machine learning engineer where she got hands-on experience with implementing production-quality ML pipelines. She has a background in Business Engineering and a PhD in Applied Data Science. After 3 years of working as a developer at AXA Belgium, Ellen decided to reach out to her background as a business engineer and made the switch to becoming the link between the world of business and the world of AI. After a brief period as a program manager for robotics and intelligent automation, she is now building a growing team of AI analysts that is responsible of defining business problems that AI/Analytics can solve and outlining how the solution can be embedded into existing business processes
