Elena is currently the Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich Italy, looking after Actuarial, Underwriting and Product development. She is responsible for Commercial insurance, Retail all lines and Direct business. She is currently Head of Commercial Insurance a.i.

Elena joined the Generali Group in 2013 as Head of Global P&C, responsible for Pricing and Underwriting activities in Retail and SME business but she has just moved to a new role as Chief Data Officer.

Elena has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance sector, working with the best in the industry and all across the globe. Her exposure goes from Japan to Brazil, from Germany to Argentina, from UK to Australia and many other outlandish places in the world.
