David is responsible for the Personal Lines and Erie Family Life technology teams, focused on enabling Erie Insurance Independent Agents to sell and service Personal Lines and Life Insurance products.  The teams are currently working through digital transformations while improving Agent’s workflow and delivering new products, such as a pay-per-mile auto product and an instant issue Term and Whole Life policy.  David has served in leadership roles at Erie over the previous five years, where he strives to create high performing teams within a purposeful environment ensuring safety, connection, and fulfilment.  Prior to Erie, he completed a 20-year career as an Officer in the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Power Propulsion Program.  David earned an M.B.A. from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University.
