Dan Peate is the CEO and co-founder of insurtech company Avinew, which is focused on reinventing auto insurance for semi-autonomous vehicles. Dan is also the founder and General Partner of Peate Ventures, where he primarily invests in tech startups focused on insurance innovation, and is the founder of health insurtech company Hixme. Dan previously worked at Aon and Arthur J. Gallagher, and sits on the boards of Avinew, CardiacDirect and BOOM! Studios.

Dan also sits on nonprofit and charitable boards including the University of Notre Dame Campaign Cabinet and helped start The Peate Institute for Entrepreneurship at Pepperdine University. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
