Charlotte joined ABI in 2022 from The Pensions Regulator, where she was responsible for policy on Value for Money, Automatic Enrolment and ESG/Climate Change and was a member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Prior to that she was TPR’s lead on the Pension Schemes Act 2021 and EU/International Policy. 

Before joining TPR in 2018 Charlotte was a civil servant at the Department for Work and Pensions for nearly 18 years where she held a number of senior policy roles in private pensions, welfare to work and benefits design. She also worked as an operational Group Manager responsible for benefits delivery and as Private Secretary to the Secretary of State. Charlotte has a degree in history from Oxford University.
