Dr. Bastiaan de Goei heads up AXA Next US. AXA Next is the innovation company and subsidiary of the AXA Group, one of the largest insurance and financial services groups in the world. AXA Next encompasses a VC fund, an incubator, a partnerships group, and an M&A team. Together, they represent a financial commitment of well over 1 billion USD towards innovative growth initiatives by the AXA Group. AXA Next is focused on healthcare, mobility, business continuity, and the platform economy. Dr. Bastiaan de Goei has been with AXA in successive management positions for the past 9 years. Prior to joining AXA, Dr. Bastiaan de Goei worked as an investor for PE fund Doughty Hanson and as a strategy consultant for L.E.K. consulting. He obtained his PhD in business economics from the University of Cambridge and also holds a MSc in Management from the London School of Economics.
