Alberto Branchesi has been appointed Head of Data and Digital Platforms in Assicurazioni Generali in 2016, in charge of defining technology strategies and delivering the capabilities for the data scientist and business analysts of the Group to explore data insights and develop analytical models. He explores also the convergence of Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation, as well as other relevant digital platforms. Prior to 2016, he worked in Microsoft and in IBM, always leading technical innovation conversations.

Graduated in Theoretical Physics from University of Bologna and EMBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business.
