EXECUTIVE ROUNDTABLE

Navigating the Artificial Intelligence landscape: beyond the hype to practical realities

5 November | 4:15pm GMT | Business Design Centre, London

AI has promised a revolution across many industries, and insurance is no exception. Two years on from the launch of OpenAI, it’s time to evaluate: does the insurance sector feel transformed, empowered, efficient, more profitable? Has innovation truly been integrated, or does the traditional model persist?

This roundtable will bring together senior figures for an interactive session to discuss:

  • How to maximise the potential of AI in insurance (the vision vs. reality)?
  • Identifying the practical and operational requirements.
  • Transforming innovative concepts into tangible solutions through a logical, structured approach.
  • What should the insurance industry prioritise, and why?
  • Who benefits from AI adoption, and how?

Welcome and participant introductions

Discussion

  • To what extent has AI delivered on its early promise? What are the key successes and lessons so far?
  • In which areas of insurance are there still major opportunities for utilising AI? What is the roadmap for successful adoption in those areas?
  • What are the key practical and operational requirements for unlocking the potential of AI? Where should insurers be prioritising spending today to maximise ROI?
  • How can every part of the business be brought together to deliver innovation? How does the culture of the insurance industry need to change?
  • What does a truly AI-enabled insurer look like? What kind of experiences and business models will AI unlock?
